Available as early as 9 weeks of pregnancy, MaterniT® 21 PLUS screens for certain chromosomal abnormalities called trisomies and microdeletions. These include Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome) Trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome), Trisomy 16* and Trisomy 22*. This test also identifies fetal sex.
MaterniT® 21 PLUS is the only non-invasive prenatal screening (NIPS) validated for twins, triplets and higher multiples, plus pregnancies with a single fetus. Free genetic counselling included with test.
